Malaysian Association of Yoga Instructors (MAYI) is one of the leading organizations that promote the benefits of Yoga. This is the rebranding campaign for MAYI.

 

Knowing the core values of Yoga, I come up with the ideas of incorporating all the elements together in making this logo: Versatility - Unity - Purity. The logo’s first impression to general publics may be the shape of a flower resembling a lotus However, a closer look will ensure the viewers that it’s a lotus made from 8 people doing the the signiture pose of Yoga by lifting both arms up forming a petal of the lotus.

 

The respective small circles surrouding the lotus signify balance while the big circle in the middle implies solidarity. The word “M” is the initial of MAYI, which can be used as an iconic word for MAYI. Lastly, the logo is designed horozontally to present professionalism.
